410 Bore
Light and quick-pointing, Henry .410 lever action shotguns now feature side loading gates for expediently topping off the magazine while in action.
Six-shot tube magazines can also be loaded through the front of the tube and unloaded rapidly without having to cycle shot shells through the action. Low in recoil and report, these shotguns match the manual of arms of the centerfire Henry rifles for the instantly familiar feel.
These smoothbores are chambered for 2.5″ shells only and are based on our blued steel-framed.45-70 lever action to allow for rapid cycling with short-throw levers.
Deeply blued, dark straight-grained American walnut furniture, pistol grip wrists, checkering fore and aft, sling swivel studs, and a good thick non-slip ventilated black rubber recoil pad are all eye-catching. There are two versions available: full-length and compact.
The H018G-410 has a blued 24′′ round barrel that is factory-threaded for Invector-style chokes. A complete choke tube is included, with additional options available from the Henry store.
The high-visibility front brass bead is ideal for shooting wing-shooting clays or birds. The long barrel produces a slightly milder report and maximizes the effectiveness of.410 shotshells.
410 Bore
The H018G-410R is a more compact configuration with a 20′′ round cylinder bore barrel that is ideal for brush hunting with birdshot, defense with buckshot, or small deer harvesting with slugs.
The combination of a semi-buckhorn rear sight that is adjustable for windage and elevation and brass bead front post sights results in very accurate shooting.
This shotgun is a little lighter than its 24′′ counterpart, making it easier to carry in the field or handle in tight quarters.
The adjustable sights allow for the matching of any shot load’s patterns and slug impact points.
At moderate ranges, you can handle small game like rabbits or birds for the pot, as well as varmints like fox, coyotes, and pest rodents.
Both models are effective for introducing juniors to shotguns without intimidating them with excessive recoil.
